The best extra activities I have joined from 1994 through to 1996. It's a dance cheering competition. My first year in 1994, I was lead dancer. It was so much fun being able to express my interest in dancing at that time. I still do now, but not as good as I was back then.

The adrenaline rush that we all had to experience travelling from a different suburbs was one of the best part of travelling. We won two year straight at that time and it was the best feeling ever. However, right after we graduated High School, I think the Rock Eisteddfod Academy have put a pause and we haven't heard anything about school competition right after 2000.

I miss my high school year. Who wouldn't miss such an amazing time during high teen year.

Oh What A Night. What an incredible High School Year 1996! Why have you come to an end? The moment you knew that life will never be the same again right after you leave your high school year, is the moment you realized that you would have spend more time with these people. That is the moment you will lose track of everybody, unless you keep the communication opened.

The gap between the end of year 1996 until when the Social Media was invented. We know nothing about how important it is to stay connected. You asked yourself many times thereafter, "I wonder if they still remember me"? Questions hasn't been answered at that time until the World Wide Web (the Internet) introduced to us publicly on how to stay connected with the people you love the most. Or to those people who you would like to spy on. The people you think never thought of you, were actually thinking the same thing.

I could be wrong but not until 2003 is when the Social Media frenzy started. First there was Friendster then myspace and so on, but now we have Facebook. The new generation of virtual technology that keeps us all connected for life.

Redcliffe State High School 1996. I was not able to sit on this one since the school captain's were the one's needed to be seated.

Last year of Senior High. The year that we all didn't want to end. The last year of our life that we see each other every week. The last year we get to be together on an assembly, sports day, activities, excursions and Rock Eisteddfod competition. It is the year all cried, hugs and saying farewells to one another.

My all time crush was on this photo. I was very devasted that I won't be able to see him every week. Don't we all? we all have that one admirer during our high school years.

02 September 1995. Day out at the theme park in QLD. I don't remember where this was, it might have been Dreamworld. We had so much fun, we all didn't want it to end.

I miss these guys, Karen, Emma, Catherine and I forgot the other two girls name.

My Year 11 Class in 1995. One year closer to our Senior Year. I love the fact that I always get to seat at the front, that way it's not so hard to spot. The memories will last a lifetime.

I like the younger me. I miss the uniform. I miss the year. I miss the fun. I miss biking to and from school. I miss everything about High School life in Brisbane, Australia. I never knew I would have made it this far. I was actually shy and couldn't speak out much whenever in teams to participate on an activity.

Being in a different country where everyone speaks English isn't new to me. But my shyness got ahead over me confidence.

Funny it may sound. I was the shortest in my class back in 1996. There was another girl that we thought would have the same height as I am, but it seems that I'm just a little inch smaller than her.

Fun memories, when you were called out a the assembly where everyone from your same year witnessed that your are indeed the smallest. You can imagine my embarrassment, at the same time giggles.

Meet Alan and Becky. My two closest friends, I miss them both. This photo was taken at our year 11 semi formal. It was an evening event held at school. I couldn't complain, I used to have heaps of photos at that time. Once again, the rest only exist only in my memory :(

Amanda and I just goofing around during recess. Loved those short skirt uniform, but of course I wear a cycling pants underneath it and not flashing my underwear blinding everyone. Haha.

I've just noticed, that watch I'm wearing was an original SWISS WATCH, one of the expensive gift that was given to me by my Auntie and Uncle. I loved that watch because it's the elastic type band. And it's cool having to have a Swiss Watch :)

Random photo's during recess is so much fun. I wish I can relive it again.

Up closer look of the Marching girls of the 90's. I remember changing the upper design of my boots. That's actually not the original blue, I changed it into one of the fluffy ones similar to the Marjorette.

Oh how I wish I could turn back time and relived that moment again. I miss the old me.

1994 - Canberra, ACT Australia. Year 10 School Excursion.

This photo was taken at Selwyn Snow Resort in Canberra ACT, Australia. My very first excursion, experiencing snow. I even tasted the snow, it was crazy fun! Yes you heard me right. I did that, my youth has always been so crazy out of control fun. But it was the most amazing time of my life. I remember having so much photos on that excursion, but have lost them during my travels right after High School. I think I have collected so much photos at that time when storing photos on cloud hasn't been invented yet.

I was the one girl, that keeps a tag of every memories. Since I was used to having slam book back home in the Philippines. I still have hobbies in me to do the same even when I'm in a different country.

Most of the photos that I was familiar to have had, only exist on my memory. Vividly, but trust me it's there. The fun part is exploring the Australian Museum, and we even took a photo of what it looks like at the back mountain top of the Parliament House. I remember it so well, I have those photos, I just don't have it anymore.

That is why, taking a habit of taking photos whenever the opportunity is there is not a bad idea. Memories should last a lifetime.
